January
January felt like a slow, cold month. Tokyo became a ghost town over the new year's holiday, and I think people were spending the rest of the month indoors, recovering.
Yet the month somehow flew by. Arthur paid me a visit for a long weekend, and Tim dropped by on a business trip. I also managed to squeeze in a poker night and road trips to Nikko and Hakuba. The electric blanket and hot carpet are now in daily use.
